Frequently Asked Questions
Why are our chiropractic visits more expensive compared to other chiropractors?
Our chiropractor team offers longer visits and a much more holistic approach to chiropractic care, spending considerably more time with clients to get the underlying cause(s) of their concerns. In addition to spinal manipulative therapy, they use a range of complementary techniques (based on extensive additional education and hands-on training). This combination of techniques offers a treatment that is meant to be corrective in nature and requires less frequent visits compared to traditional chiropractic care. If you would like more information, we encourage you to schedule a complementary 15-minute meet-and-greet with Dr. Bansal or Dr. Bouzane.

Under their scope of practice, as Doctors of Chiropractic, they are able to treat and manage all client musculoskeletal concerns. Furthermore, their scope of practice allows them to provide individualized therapeutic exercise programs based on each client’s specific needs and goals.
How do the appointments work?
What is chiropractic treatment and what are the benefits?
Chiropractors use a combination of treatments, depending on the specific needs of the individual client. After taking a health history, performing an examination and establishing a diagnosis, a chiropractor can develop and carry out a comprehensive treatment/management plan. Treatment plans may include recommendations for specific therapeutic exercises, nutritional and/or lifestyle counselling, and other noninvasive therapies.
One of the most common therapies a chiropractor uses is spinal manipulative therapy (SMT), which can comprise a variety of adjustment techniques. Specific training in SMT allows chiropractors to provide highly-skilled and precise adjustments to the vertebrae of the spine, correcting joint motion to restore proper movement and improve function.
Who or what conditions can benefit from this service?
Conditions commonly treated using this system include spinal pain (low back, neck), headaches, shoulder impingement, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, tennis or golfers elbow, sciatica, knee pain, osteoarthritis, and many more. Further, because their techniques utilize both passive care (soft tissue work, joint mobilization, etc), and active care (rehabilitation, exercise prescription, etc), these conditions can often be resolved permanently.
