Our Nordic Lounge offers a tranquil mini-Nordic experience that can be enjoyed by individuals, couples, friends, or groups. The ambiance is set with two crackling “fires”, relaxing lounge chairs, and the calming scents of eucalyptus mixed with cedar. You will feel as though you’ve been transported to a high end vacation resort!

Our Nordic Lounge is based on the Scandinavian wellness tradition of thermotherapy. This time honoured ritual includes alternating between hot, cold, and rest to produce numerous physical and psychological benefits. Specifically, thermotherapy has been proven to:

Frequently Asked Questions
How many people can enjoy the Nordic Lounge at one time?
The Nordic Lounge accommodates 8 people at any given time. Each person will be assigned a dedicated lounge chair.
What do I wear to the Nordic Lounge?
Bathing suits are required to be worn by all guests entering the Nordic Lounge.
Is the Nordic Lounge for adults only?
Yes. Guests must be 18 years or older to enjoy the Nordic Lounge.
Are there any contraindications for the sauna or steam room?
Yes. The sauna and steam room are not suitable for individuals who are pregnant, have a compromised immune system, or are recovering from surgery. In addition, they are also not recommended for individuals with heart disease, cancer, very high blood pressure, or very low blood pressure.
What are the rules for the Nordic Lounge?
- Guests must be 18 years or older.
- Bathing suits are mandatory.
- The Nordic Lounge is a quiet space – for the consideration of all guests, please keep voices to a whisper.
- Mobile devices are to be kept in lockers or on silent mode with no incoming/outgoing phone calls.
- Towels are to be used to sit on any surface (i.e., no direct skin contact with sauna bench, steam room bench, or lounge chairs).
- No perfumes or scented products can be worn into the Nordic Lounge.
- Drinks can be consumed in the Nordic Lounge but cannot be taken into the steam room or sauna – drinks must be left at a designated lounge chair in the rest area.
- For the safety of all guests, no glass can be brought into the Nordic Lounge – drinks must be consumed from plastic or non-breakable containers.
- Showers are available in the change rooms but we ask guests to keep shower times brief. This will help to ensure that all guests have access to a shower within a reasonable time frame.
Is the Nordic Lounge available for group bookings?
How long can I stay in the Nordic Lounge?
Currently, we are booking 60- or 90-minute sessions. However, increased session times may be added based on guest feedback.
Please Note: Guests are asked to monitor their time in the Nordic Lounge to ensure that they leave at their scheduled time. Should a guest arrive late, the session time will still end at the pre-booked time for the courtesy of other guests who are booked.
