About Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic medicine is a system of health care that uses natural therapies to treat, prevent, and diagnose disease. The primary goal of naturopathic medicine is to address the causes of illness rather than simply treating or suppressing the symptoms. A Naturopathic Doctor (ND) assesses the whole person – taking into consideration physical, mental, and emotional aspects of an individual when developing a customized treatment plan.

Second Visit - The second visit is usually one week after the initial visit and is also approximately 60 minutes in length. During this visit, the naturopath will perform a comprehensive physical exam, order any appropriate diagnostic tests, and discuss your personalized treatment plan.
